A node is still better than no building, and someone else might seek out remaining nodes to add the missing buildings. In that sense they also serve a purpose for other mappers.

Of course it's much better to have the buildings as polygons and I understand your PoV well, but they can't all be mapped at the same time without giving mappers a burnout, so the nodes are a sort of in-between step.

OSM is built with incremental improvements, so that's what I'm doing. The building nodes are not the final result, but a starting point.

These nodes represent buildings that still need to be mapped as polygons. I add them in changesets where I do more varied mapping tasks so we know where to map buildings later in changesets where we focus specifically on the buildings. That way it's easier, and now at least we have something on the map that represents the buildings.

It also highlights just how many buildings we are still missing. Many of them are very new and don't show up on DBSN yet.

I've removed the tag.

It's not connected to a road, so yes, it's misplaced. I was probably spamming shift R in JOSM at the time. I can remove it tomorrow when I'm at my pc, but if you're faster than I am, that's also fine.

Also removed invalid lane count at autostrada toll booths. JOSM gave me some conflict warnings that I tried to resolve, but I don't know if that succeeded.

De aanliggende grasvelden zijn nog niet aangepast. Daar was ik niet aan toegekomen, en dat heeft ook niet mijn prioriteit. Voel je vrij om daar ook "een kronkel in te veroorzaken."

I also noticed you formatted height tags as 1m60. Would you mind reformatting those to height = 1.60 m ? This is the standard formatting style for height tags, see height=* for documentation.

Hi there. I noticed that you accidentally retagged way/178149119 to a hedge in this changeset. This broke the continuity for a large part of the watershed. I restored the river tag.

I deleted buildings that don't exist anymore and added nodes for new buildings.

I meant the emergency=assembly_point tag, not amenity.

It's a descriptive name, already implied by the amenity tag. It's not the name of this place specifically, and assembly points are usually not named.
