Thank you for pointing this out. I was trying to follow the OSM Wiki’s guidance (highway=residential) for using residential "on roads that are used for accessing residential areas”, as some of these unnamed roads provide access to multiple houses. I do now see that some of the other unnamed roads fit the service classification better, as they are providing access to single properties or appear to be shared driveways.
