Correction: This changeset was meant to be 3 separate changesets (1 in Taourirt, 2 in Nador) resolving highway issues. Instead, I left open the changeset submitted them all at once.

Hello Ayalaje and welcome to OSM. I have fixed three edits of yours where you removed a highway tag from Carretera México-Pachuca (way/773164885) and moved existing nodes far from their original locations (node/7285191385, node/6829083946). The "highway" tag is necessary to describe that the geometry is meant to describe a road (osm.wiki/Highways) and based on the other attributes on this way this is definitely meant to be a highway so I have restored the highway=trunk tag. Additionally, nodes are really easy to click and drag around in the iD web-based browser so I encourage caution while learning how the tool functions.

Practice and experience will help to avoid these issues in the future. The iD tutorial built into the tool is a great resource if you haven’t completed it yet. There’s also resources at LearnOSM (https://learnosm.org/en/beginner/id-editor/). Additionally, OpenStreetMap has an extensive wiki resource which can be found here (osm.wiki/) and contains information for newer editors (osm.wiki/Beginners%27_guide). Hope this helps!

Hola Ayalaje y bienvenido a OSM.

Hello Josh! Yes, a copy and paste function exists for both iD and JOSM editing tools (though use it sparingly). The buildings look great, just the one I noted stood out as being larger than the ESRI imagery showed in reality. Thanks for your contributions to the map!

Josh, overall these buildings look good. Just be careful when copying and pasting as they won't always fit what's seen in imagery (way/765522182). Also, a little more detail can be added as these aren't perfectly rectangular.

anotherglobe, please remember to square your buildings. Upon looking at Bing Imagery, this building is nearly all square angles and would benefit from the squaring function in iD or JOSM.

eli-zun, overall buildings look good. For way/765519032 please don't connect buildings together unless you can confirm they share a wall.

Sabribel, thanks for adding this building. Overall location looks good, just know there is a rotation function in the iD editor which can help match the building even better to imagery.

Hello, moon_walker is no longer on the team so I’ll respond for them in this case. Thank you for pointing out the maxheight tag. It appears a prior editor created the tag (changeset/47554080) and moon_walker copied it. However, it appears to be a mistake and I removed it.

Hello DemoLogin. The destinations were added based on the highway signs drivers see when driving through this junction. This follows OSM policy for the “destination” tag (destination=*) which states that highway destinations “describe the content of signposts or ground writing indicating the names of the locations that the tagged way is heading to”. I believe your information is based on the connecting road name, not the destinations. As an example, for way/8118064 (way/8118064) I used the destinations from this OpenStreetCam image (https://openstreetcam.org/details/994821/976/track-info).

Not sure what happened here, I will look over the area and remove the blank nodes. Thanks
