It was sufficiently well trodden to be visible on satellite imaging which is how I found it in the first place. I used the satellite imaging to plot the path before I first walked it in January. I led a walk which used it a week later and so have walked it twice. On the slope of the hill, the path is quite stony underfoot. I agree that bracken may obscure parts of it in summer but would not agree that it should be removed as a result.
