I wanted to make you aware of general consensus in the US mapping community follows with bike lanes is pretty close to what is described on the wiki page: osm.wiki/Bicycle. This is the methodology we have been following here in Richmond and would like all the bike facilities tagged consistently. Happy to discuss further - please reach out! Thanks. |
124752009 | over 2 years ago | Hello, noticed this change when it went live on the map. It looks like the key for natural=water for the Potomac River was changed to be a wetland with tidal flats. Did you mean to make the change to the entire river? The wetland tag is not correct since this is a river with flowing water and accessible to boats, etc.. |
72958163 | almost 6 years ago | Hi, I wanted to ask why you changed part of Virginia Tech's campus to a park? The campus boundary is a multipolygon so when you added the "park," it broke the multipolygon and now the campus won't display properly. |

Also, the designation highway=primary doesn't literally mean that the route is a 'primary' route. Also, on OSM, US routes are generally given a minimum designation of highway=primary due to their importance in the regional and national highway network. |
