Yes, I am working on a project for Apple. About two years ago, when I made these additions, we talked with the local community in Morocco and they suggested track for this kind of minor road in small towns.

Although Maxar Premium Imagery shows the new frontage road along Anyaa-Awoshie Road, it appears to be offset from the existing data and Strava’s heatmap. I realigned that section so that it matches the nearby data. Thank you for mentioning that!

Thank you for your knowledge. I changed it back to residential. In the future, when construction looks like it might still be ongoing I will contact you before updating the data.

Hi Enock, thanks for the comment. Since the connection at node/8852151091 has been closed I thought traffic from this area was probably using this route to get to the trunk road, which makes it more important than a residential road. Let me know what you think.

Hi, thanks for the question. Apple has an agreement with DigitalGlobe/Maxar to use their more recent imagery to edit OpenStreetMap, which is not publicly available for editing OpenStreetMap. We generally use the imagery that is available in JOSM but where we do use more recent imagery, we always cite it and the date the imagery is from in the changeset source.

Based on the imagery, it looks like the connection to the motorway doesn’t exist so I decided to remove it. Thanks for mentioning that.
