| 161435801 | Hey B-Jazz, As you may or may not have guessed I'm a course designer for PGA2k23, and use the Lidar/OSM map data to import courses into the game. In at least some cases the "lollipops" were the "best" way to get accurate fairway data, and removing of the multi-polygon was the "best" way to have the fully fairways/greens import. It didn't seem to affect the map integrity to convert them to shapes, but I also didn't know how to undo it. (I did the same thing for Allenmore and Nile Shrine) I wont be making any such similar changes in the future4, as I have the course data I need. Also, I didn't know how to re-merge them either (not sure how I missed the merge button), or I would have probably reverted my changes after I got he data! Someone recently made an update to the tools I use that allows for multi-polygons to work. Us course designers are aware we occasionally screw with OSM editors hard work, and try to avoid doing too many silly things, but I appreciate the education so I can avoid/fix those inconsistencies in the future. I also did the same for Gold Mountain golf course in Gort, Wa, but that should be a similar "merges"/C fix. I don't believe I have any/many lollipop on that course. |
