For the two areas you specifically mentioned, yes I do believe they should be no u-turn restrictions, although u-turns are commonly used on Cuban motorways right before bridges and other instances, which can be seen on the Autopista Nacional motorway section near Santiago de Cuba (likely in case the bridge breaks down), so the u-turn restriction should be case by case in my opinion.

Hello dcskobuffs,

I marked these sections of road as motorway since they are known as motorways or "autopistas" locally, and are divided with a median. I believe atleast a small section of the "Carretera Panamericana" should be considered a motorway, but with the Via Blanca between Matanzas and Varadero and the Viaduct I would be happy to change it back, as in i didn't throughly check those sections before marking it as a motorway. Also with the Via Blanca between Havana and Matanzas, it is mostly without median, and should be marked as one two-way road instead of two one-way roads, which im planning on doing but could take awhile (I already finished the section in Matanzas Province). At this moment i will be changing the Viaducto Matanzas - Varadero back to trunk once i send this comment, Thanks! Happy mapping!
