Andy, apologies for not introducing myself. I'm Yin from Facebook, who works on the machine learning algorithm for road improvement. Thank you for your advice. All our Thailand edits have been reverted and we will not submit any new road anywhere until we get the process right. By talk mailing list, I assume you meant talk@openstreetmaplorg. I'll start a thread there with our list of changesets. Thanks.

Ethan, Hjart, thank you for flagging out the quality issue. The changeset is based on machine learnt roads using licensed DigitalGlobe high resolution data. http://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?id=55220
We have a manual curation process, but had new challenges recently as we move toward major cities in Egypt. We are fully committed in improving the quality of the submitted roads to OSM standard. But if you think a full revert is the best solution here, we'd be happy to provide all changeset ids as well. Moving forward, we will dial down the algorithm and focus on major roads. We'd love to collaborate, and hope we could work together to improve our approach.
