The Pamir Trail is unofficial in the legal sense. As for official in the sense that this is a designated alternate route on the Pamir Trail, I communicate and cooperate extensively with the Pamir Trail team, and we are all in agreement that there should be no route mapped here on ice in OSM. It is just too dangerous to have any lines on the OSM map here that people will follow on various map apps. I also spoke with a local national park ranger about this and he is also in agreement that no route should be mapped on the ice here. He and his colleagues are quite fed up with European, American and Israeli hikers getting rescued in this area.

The official name changes are in all languages. Like Bombay to Mumbai... OSM follows national governments and their laws, however annoying it is to keep changing names. This is rural Tajikistan. Small village magazins can open and close quite quickly, or shut down for months at a time and then suddenly reopen. Maybe it's now permanently closed. Sorry, I can't remember every place I visited in Tajikistan.

I'm going off of this: farmyard=stockyard Stone Corrals are a very useful reference point in the mountains here, and they do fit the definition of a Stockyard.
