Changeset When Comment

That's fine, just wanted to make sure - local knowledge can be quite broad :)
If there is another street you are planning to add numbers to, let me know and I can add the buildings in advance!

One other thing - I noticed your sources on this changeset and others that you added house numbers in didn't specify 'survey' as a source - did you check the numbers on the ground or through street view, as using google maps/street view can't be used as a source for editing OSM due to copyright.

Thanks for mapping these houses in Eastbourne - lots of missing ones here and it's good to have someone else working on them too for a bit.

If you are mapping buildings in iD in the UK, try turning on Cadastral Parcels (Background Settings (shortcut b)>Overlays>OSMUK Cadastral Parcels) - it gives you a good idea of property boundaries and is especially useful when mapping terraces/semis.

Looks like you've labelled the residential area as a graveyard.(way/618348921)

Additionally, do be careful using AI to add buildings - mappers recently have spent a lot of time deleting buildings made with AI and redrawing them as the AI didn't draw them very well - see this link for a discussion on issues with AI buildings: https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/poor-quality-imports-of-microsoft-ai-buildings/139610/1

Essentially, if you use AI for buildings, make sure you check each one after. Some of these buildings you've added seem a bit off the aerials and some could do with splitting - in future turn on OSMUK Cadastral Parcels to see property boundaries to get an idea of where houses should be split. JOSM has a terracer plugin that really helps with this.

Thanks for letting me know about this - I didn't know about this. I've added them back with physically_present=no. (changeset/185326464).

Hi,
it looks like you have deleted a small section of Tring Road (way/1311325587) but looking at aerial imagery it seems to still exist. Was this a mistake?

Thanks for letting me know about this - I'll keep this in mind when I add more landuse in the future.

Don't worry, it should all be fixed now. I have reverted this changeset in changeset/183842904.

It looks like you have squared up a lot of buildings in this area which have curved edges, in particular the blue lagoon, which is giving me geometry errors, and some buildings have been squashed into 2D in Reykjavik (See https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=geometry&lon=-22.15946&lat=63.96499&zoom=10&baselayer=Geofabrik%20Standard&overlays=self_intersection_ways%2Cself_intersection_points for a map of errors - each cross is an issue that has arisen). What was it you tried to achieve in this changeset?

And trees. Willingdon Golf Course.

I believe I have fixed this now. Will check back when geofabrik's inspector updates itself.

Thank you for finding this. I've started to repair some of the dragged nodes, I'll fix some more when I have the time later.

I have done a partial revert of this changeset so the footpath should now exist on the map. See changeset/183209363.

Hi, it looks like you deleted a footpath which seems to be visible on satellite images, running between the river Ouse and Egrets Way. Was this a mistake or does this not exist on the ground?

Looks like old road alignment was off before which is fairly common for old edits in this area. If you aren't sure if imagery is aligned correctly in the UK, turn on OSMUK Cadastral Parcels under Overlays in Background before editing to see an outline of property boundaries and toggle imagery offset a bit lower down as needed.
