Are you sure with osm.org/relation/7723422 ? IUPUC = https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indiana_University_%E2%80%93_Purdue_University_Columbus – the Wikidata item is about the IUPUC library!

Most of the companies mapped there seem to produce either pharmaceuticals or medical equipment. So I would be totally OK with man_made=works.

I have been investigating the user page of "atomwaffen" and therefore found this discussion. He/she seems to have changed tags (debatable) and flattened out dispensable multipolygon relations (OK).

most long-time mappers try to merge the GNIS id of a dam or lake into the newly created way: E.g. from osm.org/node/357328702/history to osm.org/way/708302107

It would be great if you could convince you to do so as well.
