Thanks for the tip. In this case there are separately drawn bike lanes and separately designated pedestrian areas. Honestly, I would have rather marked the whole sidewalk area and then just had bike lanes on top (where they exist), but unfortunately I'm not yet aware if that's even possible without adding a dedicated pedestrian path/sidewalk. to distinguish. Many sections across the city have slightly incorrectly drawn bike lanes because of the confusion which mixed bike and pedestrian paths cause.
