And kept old_name for users that search for it.

I am Alexandra and I would like to thank you for bringing this case into our attention. Bolt010 indeed made a mistake by not connecting node node/10210327734 with the primary way way/168942913. Before proceeding in editing the changeset could you please tell what is considered as best practice for Leicester OSM Community? To keep geometry simple, for routing, or to represent road’s configuration 100% as can be seen on satellite imagery where a physical separation? If physical separation is taken into account, then the edit of Bolt010 is accurate (still have to connect the node), since does not cross the divisor.

Hi. Thank you for reporting this. Carnide remained from a previous edit in OSM, for Carnide city in Portugal and by mistake I created this tag. I deleted it.
