I'm definitely not an expert on the topic of tagging railways and historical objects, but thought I'd point you towards this in case you may learn something.

Looks like that was an issue with the pre-existing address points that I merged with the drawn area (and selected type of House prior to the merge) I made. I see two points in the general vicinity of those that I didn't convert (presumably because they're not visible on the satellite view for me to trace) that have those tags already applied and a merge of point+area definitely would do that.

Hey just letting you know that the points in Kittery at least that you added were duplicative. Make sure when you're adding a location that it includes basic information like the address if possible, and double check that it doesn't already have a point or area with those details. I removed them in changeset/120389813.

There should be a road there; my bad. Certainly just a regular road though; I believe the one I removed was tagged as a highway or something If I'm remembering right?
