I do believe the objects you reference should be public_transport stop_positions if my understanding of the wiki is correct. Hopefully my latest change, which splits the station at Little Kimble and adds a stop position at Monks Risborough satisfies your criteria

I'm afraid this change was 7 months ago so whilst I cannot remember precisely what I did I am reasonably confident that I didn't delete any valid railway station objects. The objective of this changeset was to normalise/create stop position nodes for the platforms at each of the stops.

In the process I may have decoupled the station object from the stop position if that's what you're referring to?
