| 188695267 | Hello Trevor,
After some thinking, I am okay with letting you make 2-lane non-NHS Loop roads trunk as long as the speed limit is 60+ mph for a majority of the route. Travel times on such loops are almost always faster than driving through the city center if the route is direct. In this case, all of the route meets the speed limit requirement, even though a minority of the route meets expressway standards. I looked at your other comment on motorways, and I am okay with making them trunk if the total motorway length is less than 5km (3.1 mi). Sorry for messing up the map lately, but I felt like I needed to as I saw some roads that grossly did not meet the standards for what they were classified as. |

| 188575496 | Can you please give a better reason to make this section of Loop 7 trunk? For a non-NHS highway and non-TxDOT trunk highway to become trunk, I want the highway to be 4-lane with 60+mph speed limit for at least 10km or the entire length. This 7.83 mile section is 4-lane for only 1.33 miles. I am letting your other updates slide because the roads you made trunk DO fit this criteria, while the roads you made primary DO NOT fit this criteria. Here is the NHS map I am referring to: https://geodata.bts.gov/datasets/usdot::national-highway-system-nhs/explore?location=44.086452%2C-112.548338%2C3 Here is the TxDOT trunk map I am referring to: https://gis-txdot.opendata.arcgis.com/datasets/TXDOT::texas-trunk-system/explore |
