Hi, In a day or two your diary entry will go way down the page. I doubt anyone will then see it, they won’t be searching for it because it won’t be apparent to them.

Whereas if the company is added to the OSM database it will be apparent and searchable to everyone, and you can tag the website there as well.

Rather than advertising here you would serve your company better by adding it to the OSM database.

Hi, A survey for OSM mapping data can include asking folk about things that aren’t obvious from inspection at a site. I would not worry about tagging it though unless the data might be controversial.

Hi, You have to have an address to place it in the OSM database. If your business is online only it doesn’t really have a place be mapped. If there is a physical existence have a look here:- https://learnosm.org/en/beginner/id-editor/#the-id-editor

You would be better off adding your business to the OSM database rather than trying to advertise here.

Hi, You might like to look at these relation types:- Relation:superroute = https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Relation:superroute, Relation:route_master = https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Relation:route_master and Super-relation = https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Super-relation

I have used the Super-relation to combine all walking and cycling trails/routes, start points, guideposts, etc of a city’s trails. Thus integrating everything into an overall network.

Hi, Better still is not to upload those giant spiderweb traces around your home. The GPS traces can be edited with GPSPrune, (or something similar) to remove unwanted sections.
