17 days ago | Hi FajrAI Could you share what is your source for these edits? Thank you!
about 2 months ago | Earlier this morning, when I was looking at the Leaflet map, I had a shock. Like why is there a district region name in Singapore called "Artificial Island" around the area of Lentor? Turns out it was due to this. Have remedied it.
about 2 months ago | Dear Fizzie-DWG, Thanks for the update, and for looking into the edits! Given a history of mass imports by user DeepScanBot for that area, would appreciate if other users and members of the OSM community who are familiar with Hougang can help check and rectify any errors that might still be there. Thanks!
about 2 months ago | Hi Fizzie-DWG, Speaking as a resident in Singapore and from my own personal knowledge of Singapore HDB estates, I find it quite surprising and unusual that there would be a high number and concentration of bicycle rental points in the Hougang HDB estates, specifically Hougang Spring and Angsana Residence. Such bicycle rental points are typically not found in vast quantities on the ground floor of such HDB estates in Singapore. Almost all other HDB estates in other regions in Singapore don't have such high numbers of bicycle rental points concentrated together. It's untypical, and it is not how HDB estates in Singapore are typically organised (at least at this juncture). I think many of these bicycle rental points might actually not exist at these specific locations. I suggest to review again the mass imports by user DeepScanBot, to ensure that these mass imports have been completely removed, so that facilities that actually don't exist in reality are not mapped as well. Thanks!
3 months ago | Hi Ccy123 There is something seriously wrong with these edits. It has resulted in Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and Rifle Range Nature Park losing its green patches on the map. Which does not tie up with reality. In reality, Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and Rifle Range Nature Park are still greenery and forested areas. It’s not like the forest has been cleared in these areas. The error is quite glaring. Please revert the changes you have made asap. Thank you!
3 months ago | I walked past Victoria Park earlier today and I realised that the footpaths within Victoria Park were not yet mapped on OSM. So, I tried to map them. While mapping them, I had accidentally made the error of joining the footpaths to the administrative boundary. When checking my edits, I noticed this error. I have corrected this error in this changeset by removing the connection of the footpath to the administrative boundary, and connecting the footpaths to other footpaths along Victoria Park Road instead (i.e. what I saw)
3 months ago | Tagging these roads as residential roads can give routing and navigation systems the wrong signal that any vehicle can just cut through the College Green roads to get from Dunearn Road to University Road (and vice versa), which isn't true (they will be stopped at the gate)!
3 months ago | I think some of these roads might be parking spaces for cars. Would be great if service=parking aisle can be added for these roads. Thanks!
3 months ago | I saw earlier today that the point of connection of this foot path (red dash) and the cycle / walk path (blue dash) is not directly underneath Clementi Ave 6 (as it was previously indicated on OSM), but rather on the west of Clementi Ave 6. I tried to make this change on OSM, and adjusted the surrounding paths accordingly based on what I saw.
3 months ago | I believe some of these condo roads might be car parking aisles. Would be great if these roads can be tagged with service = carpark aisle too! :) Some others in the OSM community shared with me that it would be good for condo roads which are parking spaces to have service = parking aisle. I think the condo roads might be too overemphasised if those which are actually car parking aisles don’t have the service = carpark aisle tag. At low zooms I find that these roads largely obscure the condo features.
3 months ago | To better reflect the function and reality of these parking aisles, and also to adjust the emphasis of these roads. At low zooms, I find that this condo can largely be obscured by these roads, which I think is not what is desired also.
3 months ago | I think some of these roads should be parking aisles for underground car parking spaces! Would be great if service=parking_aisle is added for the roads which are parking aisles :)
3 months ago | I recall these roads at Milliena Square are basement carparks, primarily carpark aisles for cars to park. Would recommend they should be tagged as service=parking_aisle 🙂
3 months ago | Specifically just the small green park beside Eurasian Heritage Gallery
3 months ago | Hi @minh_nguyen, ok, thank you for letting me know!
4 months ago | I mean I noticed there was such a footpath which connected the Rail Corridor and Bukit Merah bus interchange. Just walked past there this evening :)
| 171427501 | 4 months ago | Dear junior20, Could you share the reasons for doing this changeset? I find that this changeset is inaccurate and doesn't reflect reality. 1) Hong Lim Park has been tagged as forest. Although Hong Lim Park has some trees and covers, it is not a forest. It is more a park which has events every now and then.
Please share your reasons, or revert these edits. Thank you! |
4 months ago | Ok thx!
4 months ago | If not the entire Caspian condo is covered by all these thick road displays and can be hard to view, especially at low zoom levels. I agree that roads are critical data, but their display should not come at the expense of almost completely obscuring the building and condo features (especially at low zoom levels)
