Since English is not my first language, I don't know the difference between a creek or stream that well honestly, but as far as I know, every flow of water can be called as a stream but since i want to specify the type of flow I didn't want to use the word "stream", also people on the internet didn't point out the differences between the name of body of waters that are different in sizes that well either so I just picked a water that is smaller than a river (which is a creek I believe) but bigger than a brook and give it the name as so since the Aksu creek or stream is not a river or a big body of water but a big enough stream that is fed by different flows of waters while also feed the main Çoruh river.
