reading the changeset description again I see its confusing and misleading.
What it should say is. This point is the actual summit and that's why it is natural peak. The fact that Shasta is a volcano doesn't change the fact that this point is a peak. If someone wants to map a volcano as a point in ism then I see no problem doing it in addition. Personally I think a volcano is an area and should be mapped as such. According to the wiki it is a node defined like this "Place it as close to the centre of the main crater/caldera/vent as you can" Node for Mount Shasta is clearly not anywhere near the center of crater/caldera/vent I don't know enough about the geology of Shasta to pinpoint that location.
