O.k., Dimitar, thanks for the precise example. Even the mentioned osm.wiki/File:Parking-street-side-with-areahighway.png does not show any linear features at all and therefor is not really comparable, I am going to avoid "glueing" street-side parkings to the road in BG in the future.

Anna Catarina

Thanks for the flowers.

Hello Dimitar,
thanks. I am commonly separating areas and linears, even there is a lot to do with this to divide structures from old edits.
In cases of parking lots next to roads, esp. if it is street-side perpendicular, diagonal or parallel parking, it does make sense to "glue" it for navigation reasons.
Which precise situation where does make trouble?

Anna Catarina

Hello,
anything new about the "Flying Panda" line? Will it be completed or stay as a waste of money?

Thanx for the update.

Hello,
thank You for the clearification on the legal situation.
I do not have any trouble to map a mixed system as a mixed system with tram tracks here and LRT tracks there (like Düsseldorf), if it is clear, which rules/laws are behind each section.
And I am always happy about informed discussions, not like "the train runs through a tunnel, therefore it's a metro."
With regards,
Anna Catarina

Hello Mr. Konieczny,
the mere fact that they refuse to communicate with me in an international language shows me that this isn't about professional discussion, but about harassing me and my work.

Hello Ondra, thanks for the article. Now it is clear, why there is almost no info about this project in the Western hemisphere. ;-) Regards, Anna Catarina

Hello, do You have links, so I can find info about this unfinished line? Thanks, Anna Catarina

Ah, I see, I think, I know, what You mean.
This was not meant by me to set the whole Delhi–Alwar RRTS ontop a viaduct. I messed it with the Delhi–Panipat RRTS and thought, it is the 2nd track of this one. I did not follow the DA track any further.
But I changed it into subground now.
Thanks for Your attention.

Hello Dimitar, thank You for the hint, I was already correcting it to rails with track ballast.

Anna Catarina
P. S. Always double check Your info, AnCa! ;-)

Hello Kamil,
all my info and aerials show structurally separated two carriageways with grade separation in the section roundabout to S1 and also inbetween Bierun and Oswiecim exits. Except from the second bridge over Gostynia, which is still under construction.
And, of course, the road sign D-9 "start of motorway" should be located directly behind the roundabout, because otherwise people not allowed to use the motorway will come into trouble.
I do not see temporary bollards anywhere except from the bridge construction site. Where do You have this info from, inbetween roundabout and S1 is no structurally separation of the carriageways?
Regards,
Anna Catarina

Hello Kamil,
commonly, links are starting at the last other road connection/junction, in this case the roundabout. Even this is part of the DK44, the higher category has to be chosen.
The link northwards into S1 should be also motorway_link, because S1 is generally mapped as motorway. I do not know, why this part is not categorised as motorway, even the S1 is not complete yet inbetween Bierun and Myslowice.

Anna Catarina

Hello Argon,
as You can find here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C._P._Huntington , the gauge is 610 mm.

Hello Argon,
where do You get the info from about the gauge of 184 mm for the Tren escénico?
If I take a look on the videos, it is more like 550 or 600 mm.
Thanks for clearing the source.

Anna Catarina

Hello Carlos,
why do You think, the monorail tracks will be separated in this section to the outsides of the road(s) and not placed together into the center of the road(s) inbetween the carriageways as common?Do You have a source for this unusual arrangement?
Regards, Anna Catarina
