Yeah, it is a bit weird that it has those actually, but regardless, thank you for the quick fix.

This import needs some way of preventing duplicate buildings. There are hundreds of them in Haparanda, also plenty in Aarevaara and Jouksengi, a few in Övertorneå, and probably in other places I haven't checked.

In Övertorneå there's also a problem with buildings being added that don't actually exist (some that have been demolished, some that never seem to have existed at all).

I haven't looked much on the Finnish side of the border but at a glance things do seem a lot better there, so maybe this is only an issue in Sweden?

goedegazelle, as ManuelB701 said, having multiple tags for the same thing will make the data harder to read for data consumers and increase the risk of mistakes when interpreting the data. And while OSM does follow the principle of "any tags you like", 'this does not mean "feel free to ignore existing tagging schemes"' (excerpt from wiki).

I'm also not sure what you mean when you say only a few people make decisions on the wiki. The wiki, like the map, is open for everyone to contribute to and follows community consensus.
