You erased extremely necessary paths for routing engines, areas can't be routed over, easily, especially multipolygons, you also erased staircases!

De cuál comunidad OSM refieres? No he visto ninguna discusión en los grupos de Telegram y Matrix de OSM España. Tampoco hay un "hashtag=" al osmwiki. El lugar por hashtags de un proyecto de mapaton está a los comentarios de changesets, no a las etiquetas de objetos.

Please disregard my comments about crossings, they should be named with the name of the street they are perpendicular to and thus it is not confusing.

As to the accusation that it goes against the international standard, it quite simply does not, an overpass query can show you that. Also the wiki explicitly refers to this method as being useful to connect pavements to streets due to the difficulty of automating this for a routing engine.

Crossings are owned by multiple streets and thus a name would be confusing.

If your data query is as simple as "name=thing", duplicates are not your issue, an overly simple data query is.

Mapping for a flawed data interpreter is about as flawed as mapping for the renderer.

The sidewalk is as much the street as the car section, thus they both have the same name.
