Yes, that is a correct definition for "bare rocks".
I wonder if that definition can be applied for such large polygons in this area. For example, this area is clearly rocky with almost no vegetation: osm.org/edit?#map=20/36.27825/59.56272

However, when I zoom in to this changeset, with different satellite imageries, and also when I look at some of the publicly available photos of this area on google maps, it looks like most of the surface of these hills are covered with dirt and desert vegetation, which are only green during spring. Based on the above, in my opinion, your first edit, tagging these polygons as simply hills, was more appropriate.

About this particular chageset, the "bare rock" objects that you have added do not look like "bare rocks" (or maybe the polygon is not accurate). The are more like hills that have some "bare rocks". What do you think?

Based on the description of the living road in the wiki page(s) my understanding was that these roads match better with the description of living streets than residential roads. For example:
 - "Road with very low speed limits and other pedestrian friendly traffic rules"
 - "speeds are kept very low and "
 - "where children are allowed to play on the street"

As a bonus, the rendering of the map was cleaner (as living streets are less visible when you zoom out), though this is obviously subjective.

Again, sorry about that. I welcome and appreciate any other feedback.
Please let me know if your expert opinion is that it's better to revert these changes and I will do as such.
