The official webpage https://www.thainationalparks.com/mu-ko-surin-national-park states seeings of whale sharks and manta rays ‘rare’. THX for the hint about the Maldives – I had 267 dives under the belt there… If you spotted a Sunfish there, you were extremely lucky. Axel Horn (running the dive center at Gan) told me that it took him 14,000+ dives to spot his first one. ;-) |
