In this case all railway features in the island should be found and their tags updated as such

The route is marked in cadastral plans, RoC and TRNC alike. If you are asking for rails, though; they were sold to scrap as soon as the service was shut down in 1954

Fair concern, which provided hesitation to me for a while. That being said, since for most part the divided administrative units do not have permanent settlements (except urban areas in Nicosia) and mostly consisting cultivation areas, in theory it should be safe to apply the boundaries as divided.

Hello; turns out said node was messed up in an unintended way, and removed in changeset #162442004.
As for the rest of the Buffer Zone, it is rather arbitrary by nature and would not be wise to rework it by altering its current boundaries; there are still inhabited villages in it and development/cultivation is still possible at locations allowed by UNFICYP.
Although the most ideal version of the area would be placing military ideas onto each other to signify wherever are actually allowed for civilians to enter, I severely doubt anyone would be able to make that distinction accurately mapped due to nature of the area.

I suppose I misclassified it back then. That being said the triangle there has no one-way rules or no-U-turn signs, so this might make the relation redundant for OSM purposes

Would like to note deleted nodes in this changeset are based on the following gps trace:

I am not much familiar either, I found this app merely a week ago out of randomness and I don't see any option about adding or taking images or notes from app side.

Thought so. Although I don't have any obligation to prove my point, I dug into the app I'm using to record stuff on site and turns out, the app has recorded traces every time it was open on phone, and better yet, there is one for this area.

If you are still not convinced, I'm sure a mediation from admin side can resolve the matter

someone tell me which one is foolish; to demand a gps track from INSIDE of a military area that you can't go on foot, or prioritizing year old(read:outdated) imageries over live observations from site.

Nice of me to end up using wrong note from last commit by accident. Intention here is to add some street names observed on site

This change might be disputed because in nationwide trunk roads are consisted by dual-carriageways. Another point is originally whole road was (and still) a beltway for the city.
