I am not sure this is the best way to have max speeds and names. Have you consulted with the group on Signal before making these changes?

Regarding naming, how do you decide which city comes first in the name? By direction? In that case the oncoming lanes should have it reversed? Cities are only used as reference points for sections to describe position, but the names are A1, A2, A3, and so on. Keeping those long names makes it difficult for most foreigners to understand what highway they are on.

Also, RO:urban and RO:rural are used extensively everywhere in Romania. Why remove RO:motorway from highways?

Yes, entering traffic has to yield. But that’s not sufficient for it to be a roundabout. To qualify it as such you also must yield to traffic inside when exiting, which is not the case when exiting on Liviu Rebreanu.

There is also no signage indicating that this is a roundabout. It’s just a circular road that’s very similar to one.

About the article, the mayor may have called it a super duper roundabout, but so does almost anybody that is not a police officer. 😅

Articles and drivers behavior aside, I believe we should compare it to similar junctions, such as Puncte Cardinale, Piață Veteranilor, Shopping City entrance, and Bulevardul Revoluției 1989 (also incorrectly tagged). Mind from street level they all are marked the same, not as a roundabout.

Am pus restricțiile ca să nu ruteze întoarcere în U, ci prin giratoriu. Am pățit în unele situații să îmi zică să întorc înainte de a intra în sens.

Am văzut că ai marcat deja un giratoriu. Bănuiesc că folosești JOSM – încă nu cunosc editorul atât de bine încât să trasez după imagini.

Where did you get the source? There are two more roundabouts on Grigore Ionescu street which I wanted to map, but haven’t got any aerial sources.
