I noticed here (changeset/182347879 ) you deleted highway bridge segments like way/481222391. Aerial imagery shows this highway segment is a bridge over a river and fits the OpenStreetMap Wiki usage of the bridge tag (bridge=*) and layer tag (layer=*). I am wondering if there is a reason for removing the bridge segments in this area?

Thank you for reaching out. I plan to restore the original bridge segments to preserve their history and I will message fthmcme asking if there is a reason for deleting the bridges in this area.

Thanks for reaching out. In this changeset, I didn’t make any alignment updates and just removed an overlapping way (way/1473691549).

I’ll keep GPX tracks in mind, alongside imagery references for future edits. Thanks!

I upgraded this segment to be consistent with the rest of the trunk highway in this area as it was the only primary segment along this route through this town and other nearby towns. If you would like to downgrade highway segments through these towns to align with community agreement I will defer to your edits.

I noticed you have deleted residential and path highways that were previously added in Ghana (changeset/170866588, changeset/170934958). In Esri World Imagery there appears to be walkable routes and some drivable roads visible between buildings where highways were deleted. Apple also has an agreement with Maxar to use their more recent imagery to edit OpenStreetMap, which is not publicly available for editing OpenStreetMap. With this more recent imagery, I am able to verify many of these paths and roads still exist.

I want to get a better understanding of your preference for how these routes and roads should be mapped and how that may differentiate from what is written on the Highway Tag Africa wiki page (osm.wiki/Highway_Tag_Africa)?
