the mine site started in the 50's then shut down in 76. the mill got resused for a gold mine east of town in the 80's till aorund 2000 then the province came in in 2010 and caped the tailings pile that used to blow into town often. dunno why someone labled that a landfill

theres was A shaft farly shaft and L mine witch are all connected underground

L had a stope cave in the 70's hence the hole beside it

the tailings pond used to be East lynn lake they drained it in 68 so they could pit

the liming ponds are for treating the contaminated water in east lynn / the pit witch i run the plant i also deal with 2 other site fox mine west of town and rutan east of leaf rapids

i live in town and will be adding all the house adress's at some point

i marked the vacant houses as they are owned and empty some boarded and abandoned are owned by the town and rotting away.

added missing power lines

added some stuff at black sturgen falls such as the address's as no one has those anywhere

added the 600million dallor alamos gold mine project that started construction in january

these things i added are helpfull to directing people to things as google dont have info on any of it and a huge pain to get up there

also slowly mapping the houses that still exist in leaf rapids
