Ojoinen, Hakalanniemen alue ja Puistonmäki tuli ajeltua läpi 99.5%:sti. Eipä tainnut jäädä yhtäkään ajokelpoista tietä ajamatta. osmrenderer näyttää aika lyhyellä viiveellä, mitä sitä onkaan tullut puuhattua.

Checking again I found that somehow the cookie policy for ".openstreetmap.org" was set to "deny", which had locked me out of the site effectively. After changing it back to "accept" the login worked like a charm.

So be careful with cookie policies. :-)

Up to now I used the KDE web browser konqueror exclusively for work on OpenStreetMap. But since today I'm no longer able to get a valid login done. My account and password are accepted, but I still get the "Login | Sign up" functions offered instead of the usual options after a successful login. There is no error message.

With Firefox the login works fine, so it is not a problem with the credentials. Hmmm ... I have to investigate a bit more. I do hope that konqueror was not locked out as I do almost all web access with it.

If there are more konqueror users seeing the same kind of behaviour, please send a short message to me.

Kontakt mit pemipa aufgenommen; ich staune, was er so alles schafft. Leider kann ich mangels Zeit und wegene des Sch...wetters momentan wenig machen, aber ich freue mich darauf, die südwestliche Ecke Gifhorns / Winkel / Müden per Rad zu kartografieren. Besonders die kleinen Feldwege, die ich als Jugendlicher schon abgewandert bin.
Mit gebündelten Kräften ist Gifhorn bestimmt bald recht komplett.

Bis zu besserem Wetter / Urlaub habe ich mich erstmal auf die Umgebung Jelpke / Allenbüttel / Wettmershagen / Isenbüttel / Calberlah beschränkt, wo auch noch viel zu tun ist. Calberlah besteht nur aus wenigen Straßen, Isenbüttel fehlt der östliche Teil fast ganz.

Prekmurje počasi napreduje, moj cilj je da dodam v openstreetmap mojo vas in okolico.

Did a little mapping in Newton Abbot last weekend. It's looking really very blank! It'll probably be at least 6 months before I'm down there again, but will continue then hopefully.

I'm making steady progress with Crawley, West Sussex, UK. Whenever I drive through I take a different detour. I'm finding it hard to note down or remember road names though as I often can't stop to note them down. Wish I had a better memory!

At this rate it's going to take a while to complete the town!

Have made reasonable progress in maidenbower though by bike in the last couple of weeks.

Finished off the A428 and the A4071 in Warwickshire on the way home yesterday. Just Nuneaton town centre to do now (joy) and that's another county that'll be A-road complete.

I've got the NPE rectification thing working in Imager code now, so it's super fast. Next task is to get gdal to reproject into spherical Mercator.

Most importantly - vote for Connect2 and help get us some new cycle routes to map!

Jatkettu Hämeenlinnan katujen ajelua ja piirtelyä. Lisäksi lisätty Hattulaan vievä maantie 3051. Pälkäneentie 57 tarkistettu, samoten myös maantie 322 tarkastettu ja lisätty ~20km lisää. Myös rautatie Hml:n eteläpuolelta Kalvolaan lisätty. Löytyi puhelimen backupeista kahtena niin etelään kuin pohjoiseen kesken jääneenä polkuna.

Hml-Pälkäne-Luopioinen -väliä tulee ajeltua sen verran, että uskalsin arpoa tielinjan hieman uusiksi tuoreiden gps-jälkien perusteella. Jossain kohtaa teen saman tempun Hml-Padasjoki -pätkälle.

Well, after tracing Sat Photos for a month, I decided to jump in and buy a GPS device. I opted for a QStarz BT-Q1000 and after the first run I think it is going to work well. I simply sat it on the dash whenever I was driving and having downloaded the data it looks good. I am no longer limited by the edge of the Sat Photos!

I added the road up to Belfast Zoo, the car-park, and the paths through the zoo. I'm not sure where the boundaries are so I've only added the zoo itself as a point for now. At some stage it might be nice to add each building/enclosure etc, but I'll leave that for another time (or someone else!)

I really wonder why nobody has started mapping the famous island IBIZA?!

I've stared with preparing the larger major streets, and a few one where i've been on holidays. But there is SO MUCH to do. Comon, please help. The island deserves it :-)))

Ich nutze Yahoo Aerial Images in JOSM (unter Linux).

Ich habe vor wenigen Tagen bemerkt, dass die Bilder neueren Datums sind (statt Baustellen nun fertige Häuser, ...).

Die neuen Bilder sind offenbar im Winter (ohne Schnee) gemacht (vorher wohl eher im Sommer), so dass man die Waldwege besser sehen kann.

Gleichzeitig ist der Westen (westlich Schloß Nymphenburg) auch in besserer Auflösung verfügbar.

Ich habe angefangen, den "Durchblick" bis Schloß Blutenburg mit Hilfe Yahoo Aerial Images zu mappen. Noch fehlen Straßennamen, aber in Kürze werde ich in der Gegend sein und selbiges nachholen.
