Dear user pavlina88,

you seem to be adding lots of cycling and hiking routes, all marked “source=survey”. You have been asked by an OSM community member about the source of these and you haven’t responded, instead you continue your work today.

“source=survey” means that you have been there and surveyed the route yourself. Have you really - your routes cover quite a bit of ground! In OpenStreetMap, we only map hiking or cycling routes that are actually signposted on the ground, yet you omit any information about the names of these routes. Are you sure that the routes you are mapping are signposted on the ground?

Please respond to questions by the community, and explain where your data really comes from. If you are not doing this for yourself but as an employee or contractor, please pass this message on to whoever pays you for your work. Tell them to contact data@osmfoundation.org if they have questions.

I am issuing a short-term block on your account in order to force you to read this message. You may continue editing immediately afterwards but please respect our rules - don’t copy data from other sources, and when people ask you what you’re doing, please explain, don’t ignore.

Best wishes
