Dear abc26324,

you are a prolific mapper and I don’t doubt that you’re doing a lot good for the project. A few days ago however, you chose to add a bunch of abandoned tram lines to OpenStreetMap, even though an earlier attempt of you to do so had already provoked criticism (‎http://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/33627202). DWG has also reminded you two months ago that you should not ignore other mappers who have issues with your edits (https://www.openstreetmap.org/user_blocks/862).

To make matters worse, in your recent London edit you accidentally circularised one of the Crossrail tunnels.

These issues have been fixed but it is extremely hard - for us and others - to follow your edits. Someone as prolific, and occasionally at odds with other community members, as you should really use changeset comments to allow others to understand what a changeset was meant to do. You don’t have to write a novel - just a concise description of what the changeset does. For example: “Add abandoned tram”. (Please no catch-all phrases like “added data” or “fixed map”.)

From now on, please use meaningful changeset comments on all your non-trivial edits.

Thank you
