Dear user Rovastar,

just now you proclaimed on IRC that because the mechanical edit policy was badly written you were ignoring it, and you proceeded to make a provocative edit after giving those currently on IRC 20 minutes to object, just to prove that you stand above the rules.

This is not acceptable.

Mechanical edits need proper prior discussion. Personally I have no idea if “crazy golf” and “miniature golf” are the same but it’s not a change that you can decide by yourself, and certainly not just to make the point that you can do what you want.

Any mechanical edit - meaning an edit where you just look at the tags that something has and decide on a change based on these tags - must be suitably discussed beforehand. If you don’t agree, don’t make mechanical edits.
