Dear users ricsnog and Adooyy:

Both of you have made a series of edits to the OSM map in the general area of Sayon, on Mindanao. You have used a software called “geoMapTool” that, sadly, has a few bugs and/or user interface issues that have led you to introduce a number of errors. For example, you have

• added many building polygons that bear no resemblance to objects on the ground;
• added many overlapping polygons (sometimes the same building was added more than 20 times);
• added many nodes that did not have any information about what they were.

These edits have now been removed from the map again. The errors were not your fault, they are caused by the application that you have been using. I recommend that you stop using “geoMap Tool” altogether, and instead contribute to OpenStreetMap using the web editor, ID, or the mobile editors “Vespucci” (Androdi) or “GoMap” (iOS).
