Provence - Caseneuve near Apt

Spending 2 weeks with my wife in the Provence in April/May , heavily using OSM on my Smartphone. As usual, when preparing for a trip, I do a review of the region I will visit via Bing. Adding houses, tracks, roads etc. but also taking notes on the places we visited.

Adding houses, tracks, roads etc. but also taking notes on the places we visited. Really appreciating the joint effort of the OSM community that created this great maps. Helpful when walking in fog and rain around the Brandon peak.

Did some mapping during my visit in Korsika in May, hiking trails, unmapped roads and paths.

If all goes well I will be a week near Zell am See (Austria) in September for hiking (and mapping).

During summer some bike based mapping tours near my home town Bietigheim-Bissingen.

Some minor additions on the hiking tracks and bike roads round Bietigheim. In August I will be in Tversted (DK), doing some geocaching with my kids and mapping of the are as well.

After I decided to spend 10 days in Tuskany with my wife, I concentrated on the GPS data in OSM available for that region. When I realized that BING and PCN 2006 can be used now (thanks to Alexander Roalter) I started to update street and wood data for Tuskany. So whenever I have a few minutes time I will continue to do that. I will take my eTrex with me for hiking and hope to use the updated map in June.
