Cartography Sticker | Hi Zartbitter,

Cartography Sticker | I have an OSM sticker on my car. I designed it myself and took the design to the local vinyl sticker shop and they did a couple for me Link to a photo of my stickers on my car http://www.gpsaustralia.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2410&page=4&pp=15 and scroll down to post #58 RRover |

Bike ride to Coraki | Hi, good to see that you have extended the river banks at Evans Head. I was going to Evans Head for the weekend in a couple of weeks and had intended to do more of the river banks but now I will have more time for fishing. Will do a few more roads in the area by GPS. |

Edge of New Forest | If you do your tracking in the "raw" you get plenty of attention. Try putting clothes on before you are off tracking. The worst I have come across was an elderly women in a car with a couple of kids. They, by co-incidence , were travelling the same roads as I was tracking and she thought I was stalking her. She ended up threatening me with her mobile phone. I think she was about to ring the police. I shrugged at her and went in the opposite direction. She turned up again 3 streets later. I went home. |

First update on mapping OpenStreetMap (long overdue) | Hi BlueMM, Thanks for the info. I have aerial photos of the area that I took whilst on a helicopter joy flight. I will scale them to get the correct perspective and do a trace off them to get the inlets. This way I can remove the original trace and remove any suspicion of tainted work. It certainly a minefield for the un-initiated.

First update on mapping OpenStreetMap (long overdue) | Hi BlueMM,
I was warned it is addictive and now I am suffering from the addiction. I do fire permits for the Rural Fire Service and use this to get some of the really out of the way places logged such as private access roads.
