The University of Queensland has taken possession of an area of land that previously was used by the Queensland State Government as the Indooroopilly Sciences Centre.

UQ locks in occupancy on Indooroopilly bushland property http://www.uq.edu.au/news/?article=26260

It located next to a property that previously belonged to the CSIRO, but now belongs to a private developer:

The maps for this area are very inaccurate, missing any basic detail, and given that it now includes a University campus I’d like to do a little bit of work improving the details of this area.

Location: 4068, Indooroopilly, Greater Brisbane, Queensland, Australia

A little while ago I was horrified to see that much of the road detail of the Granite Belt, in Queensland, Australia was missing in OSM.

Additional details such as Wineries, Amenities, parks and other attractions are also absent.

Bit by bit, using GPS tracks I've taken, I'm attempting to build up the details of the great part of the world, and in the process I've discovered mapping is strangely addictive!

If you'd like to assist me with your GPS tracks, let me know.

If you've never heard of the Granite Belt, here's the Wikipedia page:
