We organize journeys to orthodox Russian countryside, where customs and traditions have been preserved for generations. This adventure will include a stay at a classic Russian log hut, fishing trip, Russian cuisine cooking classes, access to Russian baths, opportunities to learn about berry, mushroom and herbs picking. A chance to live in amazing & beautiful places, and experience atmosphere of a true Russian country side’s spirituality.

Schedule
DAY 1
10.00 - 14.00 - trip on a comfortable minibus from St. Petersburg to Veliky Novgorod
14.00 - 15.00 - stop in Veliky Novgorod , lunch
15.00 - 17.00 - walk around Veliky Novgorod, a excursion to the Old city , Kremlin
17.00 - 18.00–Road to the traditional Russian village, accommodation
18.00 - 20.00 - meeting with Russian village, preparing for fishing, recreation .
You can:
- To take part in haymaking , to look for grazing goats and cows , melt the traditional Russian stove
- Look at the collection of honey , herbs , berries, mushrooms
20.00 - Dinner

DAY 2
04.00 - We have to wake up early for morning fishing, breakfast
05.00 - 11.00 – Fishing or walking in the forest
Optionally you can stay in the house, have breakfast and after:
- Hay, collecting honey, herbs, mushrooms
- Grazing goats, cows, horses
- Walking in the forest, swimming, have a rest
11.00-13.00 - a master class “Russian cuisine”:
- cooking of catching fish (fish soup, fried fish, salt fish etc)
- Olivier, dishes turnips, pumpkin, radish, beet
- Soup with sorrel, nettles, and sour soup
- Pies with cabbage, mushrooms
- Fruit drinks, herbal tea, kvas

13.00 - 14.00 - Lunch
14.00 - activities (walk through the village, swimming, rest)
16.00 - Preparing for the Russian sauna
- Firewood
- Collection of brooms
- Preparation of concoctions
- Kindling Russian sauna
17.00- 20.00 - Russian sauna
20.00 - Dinner

Day 3:
09.00 - BREAKFAST
10.00 - 11.00 - vacation, walking, swimming, picking berries / mushrooms
11.00-14.00 - a walk in Veliky Novgorod, purchase of souvenirs (we will have all sorts of hand-made, mushrooms, jam, honey, moonshine, and so on)
14.00 - departure to the city

The program includes: 2 nights in a traditional Russian house, a tour of the Veliky Novgorod, daily meals, a trip on a fishing trip, go to a Russian bath, a master class in the traditional Russian cuisine.
