| 4836547 | tystie | I believe that the name 'Red Gate' properly refers to the location of the gate here and not to the two sections of track & one of path that run through the woodland, and out onto the moor to the west, that currently bear that name on the map,. I am familiar with the area and my view is supported by an examination of large scale, out of copyright, Ordnance Survey maps (National Library of Scotland) and OS OpenData StreetView (April 2016). I propose to add the name to the gate and to remove the name from the three ways. |
