The OSM shows that the Golan heights is in Israel. According to the international law, Golan heights belongs to Syria. (see United Nations Security Council resolution 497)

Many open sources including Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Districts_of_Syria) show different border for the Homs Governorate. FYI, the bing map seems aligned with the open sources unlike OSM.
