This is the historic Grand Theater (1938-1981), one of the first theaters to welcome Black patrons. (https://cinematreasures.org/theaters/7957)

This building was later home to a church with a very complicated name (Grand Revolution I Zion Jesus Church or something like that, they don't seem too sure of themselves) from 1984 to 2010.

After that, it has mostly been vacant, with some intermittent use by local performing-arts and activist groups, such as 619 Productions.

This is a park known as "Vista At Waterfront Park", not to be confused with the nearby "Vista Park".

This park contains some playground equipment and previously had a shelter, though it's not entirely clear to me what happened to the covering over the seating. It disappeared a couple years back and hasn't been replaced. (I live nearby and pass by this park frequently.)
