about 2 years ago | Извините, исправил. Там, конечно, имелось в виду memorial. Стоит небольшая стелла в память о войне. Мб какой-то артефакт с бывшего хлебзавода.
about 2 years ago | Это и имел в виду, спасибо
about 2 years ago | Спасибо за помощь. Буду иметь в виду на счёт тегов и остального.
about 2 years ago | Добрый день, поправил ссылки. Посмотрите, пожалуйста, ещё раз. На картах, сделанных управляющими жилым объектом, дома имеют названия. Конечно, идентифицировать нужное место можно и без названия дома (о чём вы и говорите). Но в данной локации все дома имеют названия.
about 2 years ago | Привет, эти здания имеют названия.
about 2 years ago | Hi, thanks for editing the map. I've noticed that viewpoint Horizon 22 exists to the right of location that you've created. Is it the same?
about 2 years ago | Oh, thx, there is a note about adding organ to the map. You may consider closing it.
over 2 years ago | Hi, I think this is different sky garden. This is "Sky Gardens Nine Elms". Not the one with fancy terrace...
over 2 years ago | hi, feel free to change.
over 2 years ago | Hello, Sorry for an intervention. I noticed that Gail bakery is already mapped in this location, just several meters away. Pls delete the duplicate.
over 2 years ago | Thx for adding. I think the label you suggested might be too exaggerated. Area looks more like a "grass" to me. Also there are some other alternatives that could be used for tagging green areas: "garden" or "grassland"
over 2 years ago | Sry, didn't get your point ) Could you please give an example. I'm usually looking at this situation in the following perspective: If you are speaking about POI's inside the building - OSM allows to create amenities as areas or points. 1) So you can create one building and then inside create several POI's as areas (which are not rendered as buildings). This is somewhat beneficial, because then POI's by default inherit building address, so you don't need to fill it manually for each POI. You can also associate entrance to the area. You might say that such POI-area are not visualised in navigation apps - but this is not OSM fault, data was added, it's just not used. 2) Other option is to use point for POI. In this case you plot point near the entrance. And again POI inherits building address. This is how google and bing do on their maps. Basically they don't care about poi internal area. Speak about navigators - they usually prioritise POI's visualization to building details, so most likely building name will be hidden, but you will see all POI's (at least as icons). Also in both cases when poi will stop existing in 3-4 years (avg restaurant life) you still will have a building mapped. But of course if any of this two approaches make data mess on the map, then smth must be simplified. I personally prefer not to plot poi's as buildings at all when poi doesn't take over whole building. For example in a shed to the east of the Aquarium we have three restaurant. So someone splitted shed into three separate buildings. I would approach to the shed mapping differently: OSM have building layer and amenities layer, so you should try to split them when possible. However there is no strict guidelines. So open to discussion.
over 2 years ago | Hi, this is historical grade II listed building known as "Former Leadworks / Leadworks". Thus building has current historic/tourism interest. Previously leadworks wikidata link was added directly to Aquarium amenity. Which in my opinion is incorrect, because "Aquarium" has it's own wikidata tag. Another thought on this - presence of restaurant in the building doesn't always change the building name. That's why in this case I have separated building itself and amenities. In comparison in London "The War Office" evolved to "The Old War Office" and recently changed name / purpose to "The OWO". Back to this case, if you check cadaster you will see that Aquarium also situated in the former Leadworks building. So the more correct way would be to merge all this buildings together and name everything "Aquarium", set old name / alt-name to leadworks and map that VR Lab and Prezzo restaurant just rent a space on the southern part of the Aquarium building. Let me know what you think about this arguments.
