Thanks for the edits! Looks like changing the natural=coastline to natural=wetland broke the map a bit though

Thanks! Eyeballing is cool, and it is indeed industrial: I work right in the middle of it at 100 Sunrise.

The city of toronto has zoning/land use polygons, but not under any licence we can use. I was just worried you'd got the data from there.

Hi Danny - do you have a source for the landuse polygon 704196085 please? These aren't obvious from source imagery, so it looks more like an import

Also - there's a yield sign at the south end of the path? I would've though the lack of a drop kerb there would be enough of an effective stop for cyclists

It's in CanvecImports' user page. I think they are the only one active in it.

Mateusz - this is part of the Canvec import. It's been going since at least 2010. Documentation is here - osm.wiki/CanVec

The import process is from before we had strict guidelines. There's lots of historical discussion on talk-ca and in archived bits of the wiki

Hey John - why did you move the Makerbean? I surveyed it when I put it in

Sidewalk is back though messy, but Transway itself is broken now for tunnel construction. This is my neighbourhood

please use a dedicated import account, as is required by the import process.

Also many missing houses around intersection of Brussels & Winter

Hi - thanks for your contributions!

Can you please consider using more descriptive changeset comments? You've made a lot of edits recently, all with just "Updated geometry." as the comment. While I'm sure your editing is done in good faith, your work shows up on the "Suspicious OpenStreetMap Changesets" tool,
https://resultmaps.neis-one.org/osm-suspicious#2/31.2/26.2

Hi 5XWarrior - thanks for your contributions to OSM.

A question: why are you adding CR prefixes to highway refs? They're typically left as numbers. Also, please consider adding comments to your changesets. You are making large changes and it is hard to tell if these are automated edits or not.

Hi Jinal - just wondering about your source here? I walked this area and I think this path might be a duplicate of way/60332409.

GPS signal is bad here due to heavy tree cover, and there's a *very* steep ravine down to Burke Brook. This way might be a muddy bike trail, but it's going to be narrow and not easily used

all I can say is: 👍 — makes getting around Sunnybrook's sprawling campus easy (and much clearer than G**gle M*ps)

Hi - thanks for the edits! I'm querying Holland Bloorview having a Stopgap Ramp. As a kids' rehab hospital, it has on-level access. Also, the node you edited is a duplicate of the main hospital (way/115040395), so does it add anything that the main hospital doesn't?

(Was with the Stopgap folks at a Tetra event on the weekend, btw. They do great work!)

It's still operating, and still very much above ground

What was your source, please? If this was an import of the Edmonton data, its licence isn't approved for use in OSM

43300914 over 8 years ago

Please check your validation tools - former node/4472746301 isn't a level crossing but an elevated pedestrian/bike bridge

I don't think these comments belong here

Yeah, trying to remember rationale for a 7 year old changeset was a long shot, I know ... This came from a note on the main OSM list (https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk/2017-June/078203.html) and then some very testy mailings from Jochen in talk-ca in the last couple of weeks.

Hi Mark - intrigued to read your changeset comment, as it seems the islands in Callendar Park Pond *don't* render now if the outer way is tagged natural=water. Interestingly, there's a big push on globally to remove tagging from outer ways along with claims that it's always been wrong to do this ...
