It's only apartment blocks that fall under this rule, yes. You'll see them tagged already with addr:place.

It gets worse, actually, because many apartment blocks in fact have two addresses, both valid -- one is number+street, the other is number+place. People use either one. Just to keep things interesting ;)

Why did you disconnect the landuse from the road? That's the way it's done throughout the city in Sofia. Personally I don't feel strongly either way, but consistency is probably important.

Just wanted to point out that these appartment blocks don't have their street as part of the address -- the address in these socialist-era blocks is number+neighbourhood name (addr:place is the tag).

For better or worse, we have a general rule in Bulgaria that boulevards take the "бул." prefix only in their name, not the full "булевард". It's documented on the wiki, although sadly on the Bulgarian version only: osm.wiki/Bg:WikiProject_Bulgaria#.D0.98.D0.BC.D0.B5.D0.BD.D0.B0_.D0.BD.D0.B0_.D1.83.D0.BB.D0.B8.D1.86.D0.B8_.D0.B8_.D0.B1.D1.83.D0.BB.D0.B5.D0.B2.D0.B0.D1.80.D0.B4.D0.B8

I think this is a good compromise for the addresses. It works for search at least:

Yes this is a very common situation in Sofia, isn't it. This building has two addresses. It's tricky.

I'm not sure addr:housenumber_1 is the best option, however, because no software is going to pick that up.

Maybe we could put the zh.k.+number on the building way itself, and then the street+number on a node attached to the front of the building? Actually that could work quite well.

I think you've over-merged a bit: way/258085047 is not a building_passage along the whole way, only the bit under the building is.

Hello, it seems you're having trouble with setting the location of "Rodopska kashta"? Try this: Go to osm.org/#map=15/42.0079/24.8802 , click the little speech bubble icon with a "+" on the right hand side ("add a note"), and place the blue marker at the correct location for the restaurant. Put the name of the restaurant in the note text. We'll try to sort it out from there. Thanks!

Махнах тага barrier=wall, защото този купол не е нито barrier, нито wall. Ако е било добавено само за да е видно на www.osm.org, това е tagging for the renderer и е погрешно. За части от сгради има друг таг: building:part=*

Видях, че сте въвели парк Орион 22 пъти на картата, всичките на едно и същото място. Изтрих 21 от тях и оставих 1 -- ако в дейстителност има един парк, то трябва да има един на картата.

Amazing work tracing buildings in Montreal! I was wondering -- now that you've added all individual addresses, why not remove the address interpolation way? Isn't it just redundant now?
