I'm proposing to remove Non Definitive BARWICK bridleway south of the A64 and remove the Elmet Greenway proposed cycle route. I'm interested to hear any opinions before making the change.

Recent aerial images seem to show gardens now extend across the Non Definitive BARWICK bridleway along the abandoned railway. Looking at HM Land Registry it looks like parcels of land were sold off here around 2018. There now appears to be no access to the stretch between Stockheld Lane and The Approach.

I suggest that at least that part of the bridleway is removed. The northern part between Stockheld Lane and A64 might need a survey, although also looks fairly impassible.

The Elmet Greenway itself seems to also be shelved. This decision notice (https://ico.org.uk/media2/migrated/decision-notices/2614898/fs50791135.pdf) contains a response from Leeds City Council in 2018 saying "there is currently no formal
proposal for the Greenway. Rather this an aspirational scheme
that is desired by some members of the community". It is later mentioned in a 2021 West Yorkshire Connectivity
Infrastructure Plan; Appendix 2. Programme C - Options for delivery between 2026 – 2040 as an "additional option". I suggest therefore that this route is removed from the map even though it appears as "proposed" because as far as I can tell there is no active proposal. If Leeds City Council considers the project again, then the new proposal could be mapped.
