I look through the buildings I add using Mapbox Sattelite imagery, should I merge buildings with their other parts such as the mentioned porches/everhangs/etc.?

Please remember, though, that most buildings are square and they should be made so by selecting them and pressing "Q". Some are not square, as I see you've mapped, but I see some that should be made square,
