If you have photos lying around WM Commons might be easier to upload to.

After downloading the app - press capture - change to manual - press the red record button for every image/angle you want. Upload. Done. :)

The validator is very useful but not always right/relevant. It's so good now that I very rarely ignore anything it points out (1/100 cs maybe).

Thanks for the response cepesko. Additionally: Linking/merging landuse to roads is IMO a very bad practice. Even with a filter in JOSM you can inadvertly end up changing a road when you update the landuse to match background tiles.

Mapillary is easiest and quickest. There is a plugin in JOSM to easily tag a feature with the mapillary photo id.
Also adding it to wikimedia commons is possible. There it can be really hard to find if no coordinate is saved with the picture. I therefore recommend mapillary.

I ask because I personally really dislike the sight of the empty areas between roads and forest when the forest is not overlapping the road.
I much prefer to draw them between lakes and bordering on power lines where possible.
