@kucai, I agree IFFY ! And so you too would like it to be more powerful with continuous voice recording mapped to the GPS position at that moment . And this without touching the screen but triggered by the voice db level . And arbitrary longer than 3 seconds . If you keep on blathering it keeps recording .

That’s the way I see it. And I believe , you too , right ?

@GOwin Ok , so openstreetmap is een open-source gps tracker with some extensive functionalities implemented. It is continuously evolving. It’s tracking file format .GPX can be imported by other third party tools - like ODSAM - which itself has also tracking functionalities. and can show the mapped track ( but not play it I was told ) . For openstreetmap you need a PC to look at the track record . AUDIO *** To add audio info for a GPS position you have to use a button on de display, in openstreetmap en OdSam. THAT BUTTON IS A PITY.
QUESTION ******* 1.Can open street map be enhanced -> with continuous recording of voice and mapped to the gps position. They can do it with the GPS position , if you stand still No entry in the log is recorded, if u shut t fup ,no voice recording ( some threshold db to start ). There must be a way to start and stop voice recording of arbitrary length ( not 30 secs ! )

I know it’s not easy , but if you think about it, such an enhancement would be much appreciated.

Yesterday I used OSMAND app It reacted very well on my Android You know if there is a connection - same developper/firm - with openstreetmap?

Can it take the gps signal of another more gpstracker because my Android’s gps is poor. For example I was in train yesterday and imoossible for openstreetmap to get a decent gps signal. Even wase has problems , it behaved sluggish in the car. Columbus v-900 is it capable of sharing it’s signal , or whatever apparatus you have in mind?

What is the interaction with OSM tracker. I have them both now . Are they independ ?

Thank you very much for the app. It looks very neat , I will see what openstreetmap offers , navigation wise . I took an annual subscription as it was not expensive. We will see it’s behaviour. And what it is capable of. R.
