Hello, My name is Brian Yongo. I am a graduate in Environmental Sciences from the University of Nairobi. My main interest as an environmental scientist is in GIS. I have undergone various trainings and internships especially in the Kenyan coastal counties of Mombasa, Kwale and Kilifi. The main activities included monitoring and management of Beach Management Units(BMUs), spatial mapping of fishing grounds, and mapping the biodiversity of Kenyan coastal forests. My next frontier is to master geo-spatial data analysis using python.
